Welcome, I’m glad you’re here!

I have worn so many hats and had so many jobs. I’ve been a server, a cigarette test subject, a promotional rep, a costume designer, an industrial designer and lately an artist. It took me a really long time to build up the confidence to pursue art as a career path. But it has been a secret goal since I was a teenager.

Why am I blogging?

Im starting this blog because I want to find a way to connect with my audience without using social media. I want to write longer posts and really tell you what’s going on with my creative process. And I want to connect with people around some common themes that I think we all share. Like work-life balance and figuring out creative goals. And to be fully transparent, I hope that some of my readers will buy my artwork as well.

I firmly believe that to be a great artist takes hard work and practice and that talent or innate skill has little to do with it. I hope to inspire you to keep working hard and connect with me on that journey. Or to inspire you to express yourself through the art you collect.

What will I be blogging about?

The things I blog about will be art-related. But because art is so tied to overall wellbeing I will likely be writing about the things that have helped me to become a better artist. Things like; mindfulness, minimalism, work-life balance, creative inspiration and of course, process and studio tours. Im also a person that lives with chronic migraines so, some posts might relate to how I stay productive despite this.

My goal is one post a week. Though because I do have a full-time job not related to this blog I give myself permission (and give you warming) that it might be less than that.

How to connect with me?

Please comment if the mood strikes you, whether you agree with me or not.  Sign up for my email newsletter which will deliver this blog directly to your inbox along with updates on what Im doing.

If you want to contact me directly please go to the “Contact” section of my website (top right) where you will find a contact form and my email address.

Thank you, your time is precious and I appreciate you sharing some of it!
