My Apartment Was Vibrating So I Went To The Coffee Shop
As I sat at my desk making a design for a repeating pattern. I was hit by a wall of noise. It was so intense that my coffee was literally vibrating.
I took about 30 seconds to see if I could drown it out with noise cancelling headphones but alas, the noise was coming from the neighbours floors being refinished and there was no way to block out the vibrations.
I panicked for about 5 minutes. Then decided there was no way this was going to stop me from getting done what I wanted to get done.
So I packed up my stuff, and I headed down to my local coffee shop. Its a really cute place, that has a slightly retro pub feel to it. The lighting is soft and and wall decoration is eclectic, clearly something that came from the mind of the owner.
Though it took me about half an hour to settle in, get all my gear plugged in, I was able to get into a nice groove. I spent about three hours there, sipping coffee, using their Wi-Fi and little by little tiding up a repeating pattern.
I was able to finish the repeating pattern that I give away as a freebie when people sign up for my email list.
It ended up being a nice change of scenery, and I'm glad I have the option to do it again in the future.
Bye for now.
