This was one of the first posters that I was able to draw during my first year working for the Art Department on Murdoch Mysteries. I was pretty excited about it as I got to make a few posters for the scene and this was one I illustrated and not just graphic designed. When I finished drawing it I decided to add a woman's name to the tagline. Most of the other posters were male-centric.

One of the things I wish I could do on this blog is to share with you the artwork that I am making right now. But because I work on a TV show, I can’t do that, I have to keep it secret until the show airs. Now I wholeheartedly agree with this, not just because it lets me keep my job but also because I know how shitty spoilers can be. But what I can tell you about is the work I did on previous seasons. Today I want to revisit the drawing of the Murdoch House.

This week has been a frustrating one. I'm working on 4 paintings at once and like all the work I do for TV, there are about 9 people who have a direct, important say in the finished product. So here is some free old art.
