Every office has its fare share of boring tasks and the art office on a TV show is no different. There's stuff like making Police Files or cutting out vinyl letters for plaques.

I've always wanted to "do good" with my job so when I saw a YouTuber I like talking about a non profit company that helps people figure out how they can have a career that creates meaningful positive change in the world I was intrigued.

After readying the book I started looking differently at some of my past work that I would consider to be more successful.

This was one of the first posters that I was able to draw during my first year working for the Art Department on Murdoch Mysteries. I was pretty excited about it as I got to make a few posters for the scene and this was one I illustrated and not just graphic designed. When I finished drawing it I decided to add a woman's name to the tagline. Most of the other posters were male-centric.

I joined a new marketplace! It's called Creative Market and it specializes in digital goods for designers (like graphic designers and web developers). I found it while doing research on selling digital products and it seems to be the place to be if that is your niche.
